The Melatauns !

Great story about Pat and the The Melatauns!

“I’m a diehard. My friends, everyone that knows me, will tell you.”

Ricks’ hope is to share that diehard fandom with the Who Dat Nation. Because though he works through the day as a barber, he’s also the singer with a group called The Melatauns, who recently released a song they hope will function as a new fight anthem for the Saints.

The title says it all: “Take ’Em to the Woodshed.”

We posted the song a while back, way to go Pat !! Who Dat !

Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon ~

Just had lunch at Bobby Hebert’s Canju Cannon and it was very enjoyable.  In fact one of my favorite dishes was the Fresh Louisiana Oysters on the half-shell, chargrilled over an open flame, smothered with our unique zesty garlic and herb cajun cream sauce, finished with a fresh blend of Parmesan and Romano cheeses.  Cannot wait to see what the founder of the Who Dat Nation has next for me to enjoy !

Make sure you visit soon and support Bobby !!

New Orleans Saints’ Will Smith plans to be back as long as the Saints want him

“First step is, I’ve got to get healthy, running around doing the things I do, and after that I’ll be back,” he said. “I’ll be back as long as the Saints want me back.

The fight over who owns ‘Who Dat’ is back on in New Orleans federal court

The contentious questions of who owns the term “Who Dat,” if anyone can own it, and who can use the rallying call of New Orleans Saints fans for commercial purposes, has popped up again in federal court. A company called Who Dat?, Inc., which claimed to hold the trademark in previous disputes, has filed two fresh lawsuits against vendors selling “Who Dat” gear.
Love this response…..
Oh good grief. These leeches only come out when the Saints have a winning season. Next thing, they will try and say they own the fleur de lis.

Saints at Patriots

Brees vs. Brady: Does this one need any explanation? Two of the NFL’s all-time greatest quarterbacks will go head to head for just the fourth time in their careers and the first time since 2009. Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been playing much better than New England’s Tom Brady so far this year – in large part because injuries have plagued the Patriots’ offensive weapons. Brady had a very uncharacteristic performance in last week’s 13-6 loss at Cincinnati (18-of-38, 197 yards, no touchdowns, one interception late in the fourth quarter).

But that’s just all the more incentive for Brady to bounce back at home in Gillette Stadium. And certainly nobody in Saints camp expects anything less from the future Hall of Famer.

Also, Brady’s probably not keeping score since he has more pressing concerns to address. But Brees is actually 3-0 lifetime in these duels, dating back to his days with the San Diego Chargers.
