BLACK AND GOLD
Reggie, let’s get ready
Pierre, I know you care
Breeze, don’t ch’a freeze
Saint’s -let’s- go- all- the- way
Black and Gold
coming to save the day
For the city
it’s a spiritual awakening
a sanctified undertaking
I say Who dat, Who dat
Who dat say I can’t use that word
You can’t stop
Who dat nation from being heard!
Before it was Katrina,
that dealt for us a wild hand to heal
It’s all a testament to our courageous will
In the high-rise
we’re gonna have crime and disruption
But in the sidelines
we gonna cause an eruption
I say… Who dat, Who dat
Who dat say
dey gonna beat
dem Saints!

I am sending you this poem I wrote because of the love I have for my city with everything that is sweet and sour. Also, it has taking me by surprise of how much camaraderie and togetherness that arisen by the citizens with the achievements of the Saints. Therefore, I am sending out my poem to reach all corners of the Who Dat Nation to express artistically my appreciation for the Saints and a job well done. Also, to relish in this historic moment of Saintsmania and to help feed the belly of the spirit that helps us heal from wounds of a stormy past. Everybody knows we are most deserving of this opportunity to participant in the 44th Annual Super bowl Game.
(This poem is copy written.)
DID YOU HEAR HOW STUPID THE NFL IS ACTING?!?! The NFL is trying to own the rights to “who dat”!! I hope that all die hard Saint fans stand and fight this B.S. I am not a die hard fan but I am a DIE HARD fan of stopping the crap that people or large corporate jerks do to one another. As usual it has to do with they want the money from the sales of T-shirts and other merchandise that have “who dat” printed on. I think and this is only my opinion Saint’s fans should boycot buying anymore NFL Saint products and make your own Saint’s support superbowl shirts! Get a white shirt, gold or black shirt and go to town! Glitter, markers whatever to show that no one owns the right to say what has been said for longer that the NFL has even been in New Orleans. I support you and I am a fan now!! Geaux Saints!! (How long befor the NFL wants the the rights to that?!)
i followed drew brees when he was Purdue. i am so proud of him for making it in the NFL…never had any doubts.
GO SAINTS!!!!
I can’t believe this is still happening!!! Being out on an island in Colorado, no one really gets why the city and fans are going so nuts over this Super Bowl berth. I actually was relocated to Colorado after the storm and have displayed the Saints memorabilia all over my car and house. This incredible season symbolizes the NOLA resilience and never say die attitude. May this be a sign of rebirth. WHO DAT?! WHO DAT?! WHO DAT SEY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS?! I’m going to Miami not to necessarily go to the game but to lend my support to this unbelieveable experience. Is there going to be a general area for the Nation for tailgating or is that EVERYWHERE?
Who Dat? We know dat!!! Way to go Team. You got fans in California who dat gonna root for you…CONGRATS to all you boys!!! Who Dat? Who Dat? SAINTS ARE ALL THAT!!!
who dat who dat who dat say gona beat def saints!! WHO DAT!!!! hurricane who dat is comin for you miami!! I know im not the only one who cried when the saints won this previous game. SO PROUD OF THE BOYS
Who Dat! Let’s go get us (New Orleans) a Super Bowl trophy and a big ole ring for the players. This is one of those priceless moments…go Saints…Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints…
Slidell, LA’s own Sean Patton ended his stand up set on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (Friday 2/5) by throwing in a couple of Who Dats. The clip should be up on Hulu.com by Monday at the latest.

This is an Update from the Hurricane Center in WHO DAT NATION
Tropical Storm 2 Dat which formed over 4 weeks ago has been upgraded Thursday Sept 9th 2010 to Hurricane 2 DAT and has become a CAT 1 as expected!
Seems a Viking ship did not heed the warning from Last January and returned to the storm center to be blown away by the Powerful BREES and thrashed by a Tornado named Thomas. Looting also was spotted in the Dome as a thief known as VILMA stole a FARV ball.
The WHO DAT Hurricane center will keep the Who DAT NATION updated as Hurricane 2 DAT continues its path to DALLAS in where it is expected 2 PEAT.
In 2009 Pigs flew and Hell froze over so now it’s time for lightning to strike twice….
Next land fall is will be Monday Sept 20th in San Francisco, Expect the 49ers to seek shelter in there mines as the storm surge grows toward CAT 2.
This has been a Hurricane 2 DAT update.
Hi There-
I saw the post on breaking down the O-line so I thought you might be interested that the Saints O-Line is up for re-election in the Madden Most Valuable Protector Award based on this past week’s performance against the Bucs!
Let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Tanya
JOHN MADDEN SELECTS SAINTS OFFENSIVE LINE IN DOMINATING WEEK 6 PERFORMANCE
Powerful Pass Protection and Run Blocking Puts Saints’ O-Line in Contention for a Second Shot at Madden MVP Award Presented By Prilosec OTC
CINCINNATI, OH (October 20, 2010) – Playing their most complete game of the season, the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints picked up a season-high 475 yards of total offense, including a season-best 212 yards on the ground on their way to a 31-6 victory over Tampa Bay. By doing so, the Saints offensive line has joined this year’s list of contenders for the 2nd Annual Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award, presented by Prilosec OTC. The award honors the NFL’s best offensive line and will be presented during the week of Super Bowl XLV which will be played on February 6, 2011 in North Texas. Last year, the Saints offensive line was the first-ever winner of the award.
The Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award recognizes the fundamental role offensive linemen play in their teams’ success by providing consistent and reliable protection day in and day out, just as Prilosec OTC provides 24-hour heartburn protection when used as directed. For more information on the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award presented by Prilosec OTC, visit http://www.MaddenProtectorsAward.com.
Undrafted rookie running back CHRIS IVORY (Tiffin) filling in for the injured REGGIE BUSH (Southern California) and PIERRE THOMAS (Illinois) rushed for a season best 158 yards. Quarterback DREW BREES (Purdue) threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns, while completing passes to 10 different targets. The 158 rushing yards represented the most yards by a New Orleans running back since DEUCE McALLISTER (Mississippi) ran for 165 yards on November 30, 2003 at Washington.
Providing the powerful protection up front for the Saints this season are tackles JERMON BUSHROD (Towson) and JON STINCHCOMB (Georgia), guards JAHRI EVANS (Bloomsburg) and CARL NICKS (Nebraska) provide the interior blocking while JONATHAN GOODWIN (Michigan) handles the center position. Nineteen-year coaching veteran AARON KROMER is now in his third season as the Saints’ offensive line coach and has helped develop the skills of several Pro Bowl blockers during his time in New Orleans, including three Pro Bowlers in 2010 (Evans, Goodwin and Stinchcomb).
The New Orleans O-line was dominant from the start as the Saints scored points on their first three possessions and led 17-0 at the half. Brees, who was not sacked the entire game, reaped the benefits of a strong running game and methodically picked apart the Tampa Bay secondary completing 21 of his 32 passes, while converting nine of 12 third-down attempts.
“The Saints offensive line performance Sunday reminded me of how well that group played together last season leading the team to the Super Bowl,” said Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach JOHN MADDEN. “Yesterday, New Orleans protection up front was exceptional, leading the way for a punishing ground game and not allowing a sack.”
Other offensive lines from around the league delivering powerful protection during Week 6 of the season included the MIAMI DOLPHINS (381 total net yards including 150 yards rushing and 231 net yards passing), PITTSBURGH STEELERS (257 yards passing and 121 yards on the ground), and the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (353 total net yards including 242 yards passing while not allowing a sack).
NFL fans who want powerful 24-hour protection against frequent heartburn, or heartburn that occurs two or more days a week, can take a 14-day course of Prilosec OTC to maximize game day fun.
All player participation will be facilitated by NFL PLAYERS, the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association.

I’m 22 years old and I’m brazillian. I really like football ant the Saints!! I really would like to join the WHO DAT nation!
Thanks everybody.
Still lovin’ those Saints! Geaux Saints! I miss going to the games like I used to so many years ago (back in the 70′s and early 80′s). Kind of hard being a lonely member of the Who Dat Nation here in Florida. Every so often I see a vehicle around here with a Saints decal. However I’ve had folks pull up alongside of me when I’m driving my Saintsmobile (a Toyota with several Saints decals) asking me if I was from New Orleans. I have to quickly tell them, “No, I grew up on the Mississippi side.” A quick “Who Dat!” or “Geaux Saints” and then back to driving. I do have my cubicle at work adorned with Saints stuff and I went way overboard buying Saints Super Bowl merchandise after their victory. Glad I did since much of it is unavailable now. My favorite is the three Super Bowl page reproductions from the Times-Picayune which I had custom-framed for my computer room at home.
How do I become a member of the best nation around…WHO DAT NATION!!!! Are you ready for some football….
Who Dat Post Game Party!! Anyone know anything about the Howlin’ Wolf? I’ve never been there myself…but this coming Saturday after the game, they’ve got former Saints player Kyle Turley (remember the helmet throw protecting QB) for a FREE cd release party concert. I might have to check it out. Any input on that venue would be appreciated!
Sorry this was lost in the spam section.. if we can help out in the future please let us know.
I love drew brees and the saints
Geaux saints WHO DAT!!
I do i become a offical member
Taylor.. you already are a member of the Who Dat Nation!
