28Ok members of the Who Dat Nation!!
A while back we told you about a special rate The Admiral Hotel has offered us for the Saints vs Cowboys game, they have limited number of rooms open during the Thanksgiving game this year and wanted to offer Who Dat Nation a $79.00 rate which includes a breakfast buffet (for up to 2 people in each room – $10 additional per person per room).
Well they have been getting a lot of request and now if you make hotel accommodations by calling the hotel direct at 817.640.7712 and mention you are with the Who Dat Nation and get the $79.00 rate.
Don’t forget…
They will be having a band from New Orleans called Road Crew playing in our Club on site and we also have a Beef O’Bradys Sports Bar and Grill on property as well. The restaurant is also having a Traditional Thanksgiving Buffet (you will have time to eat before the game) for $14.99 per person.
You can contact Pam Carlton, the owner of Beef O’Bradys at sales@admiraldfw.com if you happen to have any questions about the band or specials in the bar and Restaurant during the Saints vs. Cowboys game.
As long as you mention you are with the ‘Who Dat Nation” group, you will get the special rate.
You can also make reservations for the Thanksgiving Day buffet by emailing sales@admiraldfw.com.
I dedicate this to Hartley!
Time to put this defeat behind us, and get focused on going 3-1 by stomping the Panthers.

Some interesting videos from the Who Dat Nation. The first one I love watching the 4 guys in front who were celebrating when they thought Hartley’s kick was blocked and no good. Nice to hear the Who Dat chant after!
Who Dat Nation needs to crank it up Sunday.
Remember the new Who Dat Cheer tradition Drew started. Wonder who the honorary captain will be who will lead the cheer?

It’s All About the Fans.

When Saints players and coaches fall short of our expectations, we let them hear it. So when Saints fans play poorly, it’s only fair that we be subjected to the same sort of criticism.
And let’s face it, my fellow Who Dats: Right now, two games into the 2010 season, we stink.
The Saints are 2-0. Saints fans are 0-2.
We followed up an embarrassingly flat crowd-noise performance in the Sept. 9 season opener with a spoiled, whiny, narrow-minded, loser-mentality, negative-Nancy overanalysis of Monday’s miraculous win in San Francisco.
If pundits covered fans the way they cover teams, some “SportsCenter” anchor would be asking right about now: “Has success gone to the Who Dat Nation’s head?”
And his sidekick would answer: “Clearly. Let’s go to the videotape.”

Metairie – The phrase ‘Who Dat’ is so common around New Orleans that the McDermott family thought they were on solid ground when they opened their Saints and LSU souvenir and gift shop three months ago on Severn Avenue in Metairie.
But Ashley McDermott soon found out that ‘Who Dat’ didn’t belong to everyone, especially if she was going to use it in her store name.
She says the Monistere family, who trademarked ‘Who Dat’ in the 1980’s, visited the store and said its name, Who Dat and Tiger Mania, would cost the store owners royalties and a licensing fee if they wanted to keep it.
“The official visit when he came by was like a bully,” Shaun McDermott said. “You get going, you get excited, and then you get somebody trying to muscle the small businessman.”
