The Boycott Bowl, the Super Bowl protest concert on Sunday (Feb. 3), has sold out, according to event co-founder Travis Laurendine. He said more than 3,000 Who Dats have purchased general admission and VIP tickets to the concert on Fulton Street. Though Laurendine hopes to find more space by showtime, at this moment the event has reached capacity.
The NFL-alternative concert, which was founded by Laurendine, Brandon Rizzuto, and “Kango Slimm” Williams, was inspired, of course, by the Saints’ illegitimate loss during THE GAME THAT MUST NOT BE MENTIONED on Jan. 20.
The world spins forward. But some New Orleans Saints fans want it to go backward.
NBC affiliate WDSU first reported on Monday that a Saints-related lawsuit had been filed in New Orleans Civil District Court. The suit seeks to have NFL commissioner Roger Goodell enforce a rule that would allow the end of the disputed Saints-Los Angeles Rams game to be replayed due to the missed pass interference call late in the fourth quarter. The Saints lost that game in overtime, and many fans blame the missed call.

Many Saints fans were worried about the first quarter struggles against the Eagles, with the Saints quickly falling behind 14-0; but Bobby Hebert says not to worry too much.
“They shouldn’t really be concerned. As long as you’re within two scores, you shouldn’t be overly concerned. In the Super Bowl, we were 10 points down to the Colts; and we still won the game. With the leadership and experience we have, we can handle that type of adversity.”
That said, Hebert is adamant the Saints can’t have a start like that against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game. “You have to get off to a fast start. That’s going to be critical against a team like the Rams especially. The Saints are a totally different animal with a fast start compared to what they did against the Eagles.”

You think you know someone, then you ask who they’re pulling for in the Saints’ playoff game Sunday (Jan. 13) against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In this case, it’s Amazon’s Alexa, the digital “brain” inside Jeff Bezos’ Echo line of products. You can trust her to tell you what the weather’s going to be like at kickoff or to add something to your tailgate grocery list, but you apparently can’t count on her to support the home team.
We asked Alexa who she thinks will walk out of the Mercedes Benz Superdome on Sunday with a victory, and her answer was — uh — unfortunate.
