What's the difference if Brees threw a pass for a TD in a game that was over long before or if Chase Daniel had come in and handed it off to Ivory or Sproles for a likely score? The setting was ideal for Brees to break the record and I don't know that any other coach with any other QB in the same position wouldn't have done the same. So the writers and commentators can whine and cry all they want. If they choose to look at Brees' record as tainted, that's their choice, but they need to shut up about it and stop casting dark clouds over one of the brightest days in Saints history.
