Who Dat Nation

In recent years the phrase “Who Dat Nation” has become a popular term for the community of Saints fans.[9][10][11] According to Bobby Hebert, formerly a Saints quarterback and currently a sports commentator in New Orleans, the term “Who Dat Nation” originated after a highly anticipated 2006 game between the Saints and the favored Dallas Cowboys, which the Saints won; after the game, listeners from a wide geographic range called in to Hebert’s radio show on WWL (AM), and Hebert commented, “Man, there’s a whole Who Dat Nation out there.”[12]

Well the Who Dat Nation is growing stronger each day and since 2006 Whodatnation.com has been branding and making the Who Dat Nation a house hold nameĀ ! Whodatnation.com was in Miami for the Superbowl showing support for the New Orleans Saints and giving away free shirts with Who Dat Nation on it. Whodatnation.com was also at Mardi Gras the past few years with Saints players throwing shirts from the balconies of Bourbon Street to the members of the Who Dat Nation.

I just looked up what this so often heard ‘Who Dat Nation’ means, ’cause I’m living on the other side of this planete (in Vienna, Austria, Europe) and can’t follow closely. But I was already a Saints fan before they first made the playoffs bak in the eighties but were defeated by Chicago. Meanwhile I didn’t have an opportunity to follow the NFL from app. 1990 till app. 2005 – but believe me, one and a half years ago I was first thrilled by this onside kick, then I almost cried from joy when Thomas made this beautiful TD, and again at Shockey’s TD and the conversion, and finally, when Tracy Porter intercepted Peyton and fixed dat bowl, it felt like paradise to me. Who dat? WE’RE DAT!!! Kindest regards and good luck for the coming season, Hannes

Jimmy Graham needs to act like he’s been there before after a catch. He runs very close to a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty every time he catches a ball have coach Payton talk to him
